I, School of Medicine, Geriatrics New England Centenarian Study Boston, MA Job Details Full-time From $50,000 a year 18 hours ago Benefits Commuter assistance Health insurance Dental insurance Flexible spending account Tuition reimbursement Paid time off Employee assistance program Vision insurance 403(b) Qualifications Bachelor's degree Full Job Description The New England Centenarian Study, based at Boston University Chobanian & Avedisian School of Medicine, seeks a Research Specialist (RS) to be responsible for collection and management of study participant data. The RS will work both independently and as a member of a team to recruit and enroll study participants ages 18 to 100+ years and collect clinical data from them during in-person home visits and televideo visits. The Research Specialist will receive standardized training in conducting and scoring one or more of the following measures and will work toward certification in order to perform them independently: neuropsychological assessments, grip strength and vitals assessments, neuromotor exam, blood sample scheduling, coordination, processing, and/or phlebotomy as needed by the study. After each visit, the research specialist will score the cognitive data, process digital data, perform data entry, and will assist with periodic data quality control efforts. Additionally, the RS will obtain annual follow-up data via mailed and telephone-administered questionnaires. The position is located in Boston, MA. Schedule is Monday-Friday, typically 9:00am-5:00pm but varies depending on daily schedule to accommodate participants. Please submit both resume/CV and cover letter.
