Job Description

Advancement Specialist (Temporary - Full-Time, On-Site) Join a mission-driven higher education environment where your work directly supports institutional growth and donor engagement. Our client is seeking an experienced Advancement Specialist to support a busy Advancement Department on a temporary basis (approximately 3 months) to cover a staff vacancy.
Schedule:
Full-time, on-site in the Springfield area
Pay Rate:
$30-35/hour The ideal candidate will bring prior experience in advancement, development, or a related function and be comfortable working independently in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities:
Process and record gifts accurately and efficiently Generate reports and support data tracking needs Prepare and send donor acknowledgement letters Provide general administrative and operational support to the Advancement team
Qualifications:
Previous experience in an advancement, development, or similar role required Strong proficiency with Raiser's Edge (or similar CRM) and Microsoft Excel Strong attention to detail and organizational skills Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines Comfortable working independently Experience with data analytics is a plus This is an excellent opportunity for a detail-oriented professional who can step in quickly and contribute to a high-functioning team.
