Research Coordinator The University of Southern Mississippi is currently accepting applications for the position of Research Coordinator. Job Summary The research coordinator will assist the Principal Investigator with collection, management, and analysis of regional economic, real estate, and spatial data relevant to the study of innovation districts. The research coordinator will facilitate a systematic process for researching, evaluating, and summarizing innovation districts literature. The research coordinator will help draft publications and grant-related materials. Primary Duties and Responsibilities Assists with collection and management of regional economic, real estate, and spatial data. Assists with analysis, interpretation, and visualization of regional economic, real estate, and spatial data. Coordinates a systematic process for researching academic and trade literature. Contributes to the drafting of peer-reviewed publications. Assists with development of materials for grant proposals and post-award reports. Minimum Qualifications Master of Science of Economic Development degree Knowledge, Skills & Abilities Data analysis and visualization skills.
