Posting Summary Rutgers, The State University of New Jersey, is seeking a Research Teaching Specialist III in the Department of Obstetrics, Gynecology and Reproductive Health within the New Jersey Medical School (NJMS). The Research Teaching Specialist III conducts research in gynecologic cancer health equity by supporting study design, data collection, participant recruitment, and data analysis. Assists with report development, grant preparation, and dissemination of research findings. Ensures adherence to regulatory and institutional compliance while collaborating with the Principal Investigator and research partners to advance study objectives. Among the key duties of this position are the following: As assigned, assists the Principal Investigator (PI) and research team with the design, planning, and implementation of studies. Conducts quantitative and qualitative data collection and analysis using tools such as SPSS, STATA, NVivo, Qualtrics, and Excel to support research studies Performs literature reviews and synthesize findings to inform research. Conducts outreach to potential study participants, including calling, screening, and enrolling eligible individuals into research studies while maintaining detailed contact logs and adherence to IRB-approved recruitment procedures. Assists in the dissemination of research findings and preparation of grant applications and related materials.
