Procurement Analyst II (Ocean Transportation) The Procurement Analyst II is responsible for supporting all tactical /operational responsibilities from procure to pay pertaining to the designated spend categories. In addition, this role will also identify opportunities to reduce Total Cost of Ownership as well as provide recommendations for process improvement and performance tracking metrics. Essential Functions Manage international import process through shipment lifecycle, including but not limited to maintaining import shipment documentation, US Customs compliance, shipment track and trace, coordinating with ocean transportation vendors, communicating with overseas suppliers, etc. Resolve discrepancies and freight issues including but not limited to ocean freight and drayage services Identify opportunities to reduce Total Cost of Ownership (TCO) Analyze market conditions to effectively manage logistics costs and projects Support annual

process from creation to completion and provide supplier selection recommendations Manage quarterly and monthly business reviews with carriers Support contract management and contract compliance for existing and new vendors/carriers Develop and present category reports for management Provide recommendations for process improvements and performance tracking metrics Support system and process improvement on PO/shipment visibility and invoicing Maximize supplier relationships through conference calls and in-person meetings Work cross-functionally within Niagara (with Logistics Procurement, Manufacturing, Supply Chain, Legal, Finance, QA, and Engineering) to accomplish departmental goals and gain support internally When needed, help drive or drive vendor discussions to achieve best results for Niagara including but not limited to: relationship formation Existing relationship management Negotiation This position may require travel up to 15% Please note this job description is not designed to contain a comprehensive list of activities, duties or responsibilities that are required of the employee for this job.
