Land Use & Environmental Of Counsel /
Partner Locations:
Can work in any of the firms' 5 offices across California (Los Angeles, Oakland, or San Diego, CA (5 offices across California) Directly partnered with a well-established California law firm is quietly growing its land use and environmental practice and is looking to add a senior-level attorney with meaningful CEQA experience. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys being deeply involved in complex development matters, working directly with clients, and navigating the intersection of land use regulation, environmental review, and public process across California.
Core Responsibilities:
Advising on CEQA compliance and environmental review strategies Guiding projects through zoning, planning, and entitlement approvals Supporting large public and private developments from early planning through approvals Handling regulatory matters and, where applicable, litigation-related issues
Ideal Background:
7+ years practicing land use and/or environmental law in California Strong command of CEQA and state/local land use frameworks Experience working with developers, public agencies, or both Comfortable managing matters independently while collaborating with senior leadership
