Job Description
DIVISION
Office of the Chief Court AdministratorCLASS DEFINITION
This class is accountable for assisting in the planning, coordinating, monitoring, and evaluating of agency/division programs and operations.SUPERVISION RECEIVED
Works under the general supervision of an employee of higher grade.SUPERVISION EXERCISED
May supervise lower level staff as assigned.EXAMPLES OF DUTIES
Conducts specific examinations and assists in conducting difficult and conceptually broad examination of procedures, operations, and projects for conformance with identified goals and objectives; collects and analyzes data on methods, standards, utilization of staff, space, equipment, processing systems, records management, forms design, etc., and evaluates for cost effectiveness and optimal efficiency based on given desired results; consults with administrative officials on improvement of basic administrative or operating procedures; prepares reports and recommendations; assists with the design and development of new programs; monitors and makes suggestions for the modification of existing plans and programs; acts as liaison with other operating units, agencies, and outside officials regarding programs and plans; may assist with the drafting of regulations pertaining to programs and plans; may conduct field and site visits as necessary; assists in conducting special studies as directed; performs related duties as required.MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS REQUIRED
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLAND ABILITY
Knowledge of the principles and practices of business and public administration with emphasis on effective organization, administration, and management; knowledge of the principles and practices of planning, policy analysis, and organizational analysis; knowledge of research and statistical methods and techniques; knowledge of current office methods and procedures, including some knowledge of data processing systems; some knowledge of governmental fiscal and budgetary practices; interpersonal skills; oral and written communication skills; ability to analyze problems and recommend effective solutions.EXPERIENCE AND TRAINING
General Experience:
Five (5) years of experience in governmental or regional planning, research and policy analysis, methods and procedures analysis, organizational analysis, or a related field.Substitutions Allowed:
1) College training may be substituted for the General Experience on the basis of fifteen semester hours equaling one-half (1/2) year of experience to a maximum of four (4) years for a Bachelor's degree. 2) A Master's degree in a related field may be substituted for the General Experience.Similar remote jobs
