We are currently seeking a talented and experienced Permit Processor to join our team of professionals. This position offers great opportunity for dynamic, motivated self-starters to work on a variety of work assignments. You'll be a member of our highly respected team of professionals with a full complement of resources to support you and exciting projects to keep you challenged. Job Requirements Considerable knowledge of land measurement and legal descriptions. Ability to read and interpret building plans, site plans, development plans and zoning maps. Ability to work effectively with other governmental agencies and the public. Ability to communicate effectively in writing. Ability to manage, review and analyze complex processes to continually improve permit application review services. Ability to deal tactfully but firmly with customers. Ability to maintain composure in stressful situations. Ability to use personal computers. Education /

Experience:

High School Diploma or GED Municipal or Construction Administrative Experience preferred. 2+ years working in an office and customer service experience.
