Position Title:
Analyst, Fuel Optimization Position Summary The Analyst gathers, interprets, and reports Flight Operations data for the Fuel Optimization Team. Using quantitative analysis methods, the Analyst tracks, trends, and reports fuel performance data, including insights derived from platforms supporting Flight Ops/pilot-driven fuel optimization, including Skybreathe and PACE in a manner that enables process and operational enhancements based on accurate, reliable data that directly impact fuel initiatives companywide. To that end, the Analyst will develop expertise in and manage the back-of-house database technology infrastructure used to supply and analyze data. Essential Responsibilities Compile, track, trend, and analyze performance data reports for the Senior Manager of Fuel Optimization and Leadership, including but not limited to single engine taxi performance, APU usage, fuel planning performance, PACE route optimization, and SkyBreathe fuel efficiency insights and recommendations
Leverage analytics tools to identify fuel-saving opportunities, monitor operational compliance, and support fuel efficiency initiatives
Recommend improvements to processes based on comprehensive data analysis of performance metrics, including findings from SkyBreathe and other platforms
Manage database infrastructure, particularly SharePoint, Comply365 Forms, SkyBreathe data outputs, and other platforms supporting departmental performance measurement and reporting
Identify and analyze root causes of challenges identified through departmental and company Internal Evaluation Programs, incorporating SkyBreathe data where applicable
Interface and communication with Flight Operations regularly to gather data relevant to Fuel Optimization performance and support alignment on Fuel Optimization driven initiatives monthly pilot communications and collaboration with Corporate Communications
Partner with all levels of Leadership regarding proper understanding and use of metrics, dashboards, and insights
Support ad hoc initiatives across process improvement, program management, and quality assurance, including the development and implementation of standard operating procedures (SOPs) to enhance fuel efficiency and operational consistency
Own, lead, and execute fuel efficiency projects from initiation through implementation, driving measurable results
Other duties as assigned Minimum Experience and Qualifications Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Communications, Airline Operations or a relevant field; OR demonstrated capability to perform job responsibilities with a High School Diploma/GED and at least four (4) years of previous relevant work experience
One (1) year of analytical experience and/or quality management
Working knowledge and demonstrated competency with the Microsoft Office Suite including Word, PowerPoint, Access, and Outlook
Expert abilities in Excel and SharePoint
Strong team building interpersonal skills
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Strong organizational skills
Ability to interface well with crewmembers at all levels of the Company to include the most senior level of JetBlue leadership as well as interface with the leadership of external business partners and regulatory agencies
Ability to acquire and present information through independent reading, interviews with subject-matter specialists, or other appropriate methods
Available for occasional overnight travel (up to 10%)
In possession of valid travel documents with the ability to travel in and out of the United States
Must be able to pass a pre-employment drug test
Must be legally eligible to work in the country in which the position is located
Authorization to work in the US is required. This position is not eligible for visa sponsorship Preferred Experience and Qualifications One (1) year of Airline Operations or Flight Operations experience
Working knowledge of Tableau Crewmember Expectations Regular attendance and punctuality
Potential need to work flexible hours and be available to respond on short-notice
Able to maintain a professional appearance
When working or traveling on JetBlue flights, and if time permits, all capable crewmembers are asked to assist with light cleaning of the aircraft

(Sedentary) Compensation The base pay range for this position is between $62,000.00 and $101,000.00 per year.
