Element Engineering Group Tampa, FL Job Details 11 hours ago Qualifications CAD plan production Highway traffic analysis Professional development support Mentoring Traffic laws Professional Engineer Full Job Description Essential Duties and Responsibilities Serve as the leader of the Orlando Traffic Design Team Serve as lead technical engineer and/or engineer of record for traffic projects Direct and assist traffic analyses using current best practices with a focus on Vision Zero principles and the Safe System approach Direct and assist the production of signing and pavement marking and signal plans in accordance with FDOT standards Conduct field reviews Perform quality control reviews Effectively communicate and coordinate with clients and colleagues Train and mentor junior team members Support marketing pursuits and business development efforts Assist with recruiting efforts for the Orlando office and ELEMENT Traffic Team Engage the Orlando Traffic Design Team to support retention and employee satisfaction Required Qualifications Professional Engineer (PE) registered in Florida At least 5 years of post-registration experience Traffic studies experience Traffic design experience Familiarity with the current FDOT Manuals and traffic guidelines Excellent technical, written, and oral communication skills Strong working knowledge of MicroStation and/or ORD Interest in mentoring junior staff Commitment to safety Local agency experience is a plus
