The Senior Transportation Manager is part of the Customer Operations (CO) team at Coca-Cola NAOU, supporting the Strategic Transportation organization in securing reliable, high-quality capacity across our carrier network while driving cost efficiency and meeting service expectations. This role guides and streamlines transportation planning activities and manages daily transportation operations critical to a ~$1B transportation budget, overseeing ~600,000 annual load tenders across 180+ origins in the U.S. and Canada with 80+ carrier partners. Through effective provider partnerships, network planning and performance management, the Senior Transportation Manager helps ensure our customers and facilities receive consistent, dependable transportation support from pickup to delivery. What You'll Do for Us Overseeing operations execution of transportation planning across all transportation modes Managing shipments fromNAOU/COMAN
sites to customers Managing intra-company shipments Handling daily load volumes of 500-1000 shipments Task varies based on complexity of site(s) managed and business needs Assisting in creating and ensuring compliance to Trans Ops SOP's Managing any escalation concerns promptly Handling daily backlog and any shipper related issues or concerns Collaborating with other supply chain teams and cross functional teams to execute the business. Responsible for leading dedicated transportation business through carrier management, process management and optimization. Accountability and coaching of stakeholders on dedicated scorecard and KPI governance, as well as invoice review and approval processes. Productivity Initiatives (PI) to drive financial and operational improvements Review transportation and carrier performance data to identify trends, root causes and improvement opportunities; translate insights into action plans and measurable KPI gains Partnering with Sourcing Managers on development of the annual dedicated budget.What You'll Need Qualifications & Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in Business, Logistics/Supply Chain Management or related field of experience of 5 years of related experience or more 5 years relevant work experience in Transportation Management Experience with Oracle Transportation Management systems and SAP preferred Intermediate MS Office Suite including Power BI and CoPilot Proven ability to analyze operational data and build KPI/scorecard insights (e.g., service, cost, tender acceptance, dwell) to drive continuous improvement Excellent verbal and written communication skills; clear, effective communication with internal and external stakeholders High attention to detail, ability to thrive under deadlines and work in a team environment, while also delivering independent results. Demonstrated ability to review issues and provide recommendations for resolution Strong prioritization skills, multi-tasking skills and works with a sense of urgencyWhat We Can Do For You Iconic Brand:
