We are currently seeking a planning professional to help us continue growing in the region with fresh ideas, a great personality and team spirit. Assedo Consulting provides planning and public outreach services for infrastructure projects in the planning, design, and construction phases of development.
Our ideal candidate has:
3 - 5 years of relevant project experience working in urban planning, community outreach or Master's Degree in Civil Engineering, Community Planning, Journalism, Marketing or other related field; Ability to work on multiple tasks for multiple project teams; Interest in community improvement, education, engagement and stewardship; Strong communications skills (written and verbal); and Positive attitude and outlook. Examples of typical job duties include: Reviewing technical documents and developing messages to share with the public; Coordinating meeting logistics (identifying potential meeting sites, scheduling meeting details, preparing decision matrices of options for the project); Attending field and community meetings with the team and preparing meeting notes; Leading parts of the community engagement process at client and public meetings; Creating project maps and visual aids for public information; Developing project databases and producing accompanying reports; and Developing task plans and other outreach documents for projects. We are conveniently located in the Baltimore region and Prince George's County, Maryland. Our staff is continually stretching, learning, improving and growing.
