Job Description

JOB DESCRIPTION
The City of Bozeman is now accepting applications for a Historic Preservation Planner to support our Community Development Team. This position supports the City's historic preservation program through planning reviews, community engagement, research, public presentations, and collaboration with boards, staff, and community partners to protect and promote Bozeman's historic resources.
Minimum Required Qualifications:
Bachelor's Degree in Historic Preservation, Planning, Urban Design, Architecture, or a closely related field, and At least 4 years' experience in planning, urban design, or development review, with at least two of those years in historic preservation related work, or Any combination of experience and training which provides the equivalent scope of knowledge, skills, and abilities necessary to perform the work. Must possess a current valid Driver's License and have the ability to obtain a Montana Driver's License within 60 days of employment.
