Job Description
Capacity Planner Princeton, NJ As a Capacity Planner, you will be responsible for developing and maintaining a production plan that aligns with plant capacity, customer demand, and raw‑material availability. You will coordinate closely with material planning, production, and quality teams to schedule work and ensure seamless execution. The position also monitors plan performance, drives corrective actions when deviations occur, and adjusts schedules or delivery dates as needed to meet operational requirements. A strong commitment to safety, quality, and continuous improvement is essential, with active participation in incident reporting and root‑cause analysis. Your key responsibilities
- Develop and maintain the production plan in alignment with plant capacity, customer demand, and raw‑material availability.
- Coordinate and schedule production orders by partnering closely with material planning, production, and quality teams to ensure successful execution.
- Monitor production‑plan performance, participate in review meetings, and recommend corrective actions when deviations occur.
- Adjust delivery dates for customer or internal orders when raw‑material shortages require schedule changes.
- Reschedule production orders as needed to balance plant capacity and meet confirmed demand.
- Uphold all Quality, Food Safety, Safety, Hygiene, Environmental, and regulatory requirements; report incidents immediately; and actively participate in root‑cause analysis and continuous‑improvement activities. We bring

- Bachelor's degree required, preferably in Business Administration, Industrial Engineering, Commercial Relations, International Business, or a related field.
- Proficiency with SAP and the Microsoft Office Suite.
- Ability to interpret Bills of Materials (BOM) and manage KPIs effectively.
- Experience with inventory management and inventory‑control processes.
- At least one year of Supply Chain experience is preferred.
- Knowledge of Good Documentation Practices and the Integrated Management System. The salary or hourly wage scale provided reflects the pay range dsm-firmenich expects to pay the successful candidate for the position. Individual pay offered will be based on the applicant's job-related skills, experience, relevant education, or training, and primary work location. Salary $85,000
- $95,000.
