The position is scheduled to work Monday through Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., with occasional evening attendance at public hearings as needed. Remote work one day per week may be available upon successful completion of probation. Who we are looking for Our new team member will have a passion for customer service, teamwork, and collaboration. We are looking for someone to answer planning and zoning related questions to customers at the front counter, over the phone and through email. This position will also perform entry-level technical planning work involving the research, review, analysis and coordination of various administrative zoning applications as well as processing minor applications requiring public hearings. • A Bachelor's degree in Urban Planning, Public Administration or a related field;
• 1 year of experience in planning or a related field; or
• Any equivalent combination of experience and training which provides the knowledge and abilities necessary to perform the work.

This is a regular full-time position, subject to a 6-month probationary period. A register of qualified candidates will be active for 4 months should another position become available.
