Job Description

ROLE SUMMARY
This is an Onsite 2nd Shift position (2:30 PM
  • 11:00 PM EST, M
  • F) based at our location in Cowpens, SC. No Visa sponsorship is available for this position. No relocation assistance is available for this position. This is a Salaried
  • Non-Exempt position.
Overtime eligible. The Transportation Analyst will coordinate and prioritize daily shipping schedules to level Distribution Center shipping and meet customer requirements. You'll manage specific customer acconts for fill rate, transportaion, and delivery requirements.
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
Supporting supply chain operations for materials and finished goods, including carrying out warehousing, distribution and transportation support tasks Manage daily and weekly shipping schedules and delivery/shipping appointments for customers Manage and process customer deliveries to external service providers in a timely manner to comply with customer requirements Release, schedule, and create shipping documents and labels according to customer specifications Communicate with carriers and CSAs regarding shipping challenges Enter and navigate customer portals for ASN requirements Maintain established productivity and quality standards in a fast-paced environment Collaborate with internal and external business partners to maintain on-time shipping requirements Monitor reports to collect data and support business KPIs May require local travel to other Distribution Centers or Manufacturing facilities
REQUIREMENTS
Education:
  • High School diploma or GED
Experience:
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in shipping, working with internal and external customers in a distribution environment
Required Skills:
  • Excellent English verbal and written communication skills
  • Strong Microsoft Office skills (intermediate Excel and Word)
  • Ability to meet deadlines and multitask effectively
  • Proven problem-solving skills
Preferred Education and Skills:
  • Associate's degree or higher
  • SAP experience (Sales & Distribution module preferred) #LI
  • Onsite
