This role supports a variety of client-facing projects, including corridor studies, mobility plans, and travel demand analysis, for public agencies such as the Texas Department of Transportation, MPOs, and local governments. The ideal candidate combines strong analytical skills with an interest in client interaction and business development. Key Responsibilities Support corridor studies, subarea plans, and regional mobility plans Perform data analysis using transportation, demographic, and land use datasets Assist with travel demand modeling and scenario analysis Prepare technical reports, presentations, and client deliverables Develop maps and visualizations using GIS tools Participate in client meetings, workshops, and stakeholder coordination Support public outreach efforts and community engagement activities Assist with proposal development and business development efforts, including: Preparing resumes and project descriptions Contributing to technical approaches Supporting pursuit strategies Coordinate with multidisciplinary teams and subconsultants Required Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Transportation Planning, Urban Planning, or related field Minimum of 2 years of relevant experience in consulting Proficiency in: Microsoft Excel GIS tools (e.g., ArcGIS) Strong technical writing and communication skills Ability to work in a fast-paced, deadline-driven consulting environment Preferred Qualifications Passed FE Exam and active EIT certification (or ability to obtain shortly after hire) Experience with travel demand and traffic modeling software (TransCAD, Cube, VISUM, VISSIM) Familiarity with Texas planning practices and MPO processes Exposure to data visualization tools (Tableau, Power BI) Interest in client engagement and business development Strong interpersonal and communication skills Proactive and self-motivated with a willingness to take initiative Ability to balance technical work with client-facing responsibilities

Compensation Range:
