Land Planner

Overview Carson Land Consultants, LLC is seeking an experienced Land Planner to lead local land development projects from concept through completion. The ideal candidate will have an extensive background in land development and construction, be familiar with county ordinances, and have strong interpersonal skills. In addition, we are looking for someone who can create land use strategies, market projects, and engage with our clients. Responsibilities Lead the preparation of detailed land use plans, site layouts, and development proposals using advanced drafting tools such as AutoCAD. Interpret comprehensive plans and zoning ordinances to best support our clients' project goals. Conduct thorough research and data collection on environmental regulations, zoning laws, and transportation planning requirements to inform project strategies. Manage project schedules, coordinate with clients, and oversee multiple projects simultaneously to ensure timely delivery. Prepare comprehensive reports, presentations, and documentation that clearly communicate project objectives, findings, and recommendations. Qualifications Strong interpersonal skills. Experience with land planning but desire to think and work outside of the box. Proven experience in urban planning, land development, or related fields with a strong portfolio demonstrating successful project delivery. Proficiency in CAD (AutoCAD). Strong understanding of contracts management, construction processes, and economic development principles. Excellent project management skills with the ability to develop detailed project schedules and coordinate diverse teams effectively. Data analysis skills for interpreting survey results, environmental data collection efforts, and research findings. Exceptional report writing abilities to produce clear documentation for clients and regulatory agencies. Knowledge of transportation planning principles and experience working within regulatory frameworks related to urban development projects. Pay:

$78,000.00 - $86,000.00 per year
