Job Description

Category Schools - Counselor - Telehealth Job Type All Job Types A professional Counselor with expertise in telehealth and teletherapy is needed to support high school students in Tucson, AZ. This role involves providing remote counseling services designed to address the academic, emotional, and social needs of a small group of approximately 9 high school students. Candidates with experience in school-based counseling and teletherapy platforms will excel in this position.
Key Responsibilities:
Deliver individual and group counseling sessions through telehealth platforms Develop and implement treatment plans tailored to the unique needs of high school students Monitor student progress and adjust interventions as needed Collaborate with educators and families to support student well-being and academic success Maintain accurate and confidential records in accordance with school policies and legal requirements Participate in virtual meetings and professional development opportunities
Desired Qualifications:
Relevant counseling credential or license Experience conducting teletherapy or telehealth counseling sessions Familiarity with high school student developmental and mental health issues Strong communication and interpersonal skills Ability to manage a caseload of approximately 9 students Commitment to maintaining student confidentiality and ethical counseling practices
Work Schedule:
Approximately 600 minutes of counseling services per month delivered remotely Flexible scheduling options to meet student needs This role offers the opportunity to positively impact adolescent students through innovative teletherapy services within an educational environment.
