Aequor is hiring a full-time School Counselor / LMFT in Chatsworth, CA for the 26/27 school year!

Pay:

$54 - $57 per hour Position Summary The School Counselor supports students' academic success, social-emotional development, and career readiness. This role provides individual and group counseling, collaborates with families and staff, and helps create a safe, inclusive learning environment where all students can thrive. Key Responsibilities Student Support Provide individual and small-group counseling on academic, behavioral, and personal concerns Develop and implement intervention plans for students facing challenges Support crisis response and provide appropriate referrals to outside services Monitor student progress and maintain accurate, confidential records Collaboration & Communication Partner with teachers, administrators, and support staff to address student needs Communicate with parents/guardians regarding student development and resources Participate in multidisciplinary teams and student support meetings Qualifications Master's degree in School Counseling, Psychology, or related field Valid state certification or licensure as a LMFT or School Counselor Knowledge of child/adolescent development and counseling techniques Strong communication, organization, and collaboration skills Ability to handle sensitive information with discretion Preferred Skills Experience in K-12 educational settings Crisis intervention and conflict resolution training Cultural competence and commitment to equity and inclusion #INDEDU1
