$21.12 per hour plus benefits/Range 20 Additional salary credit may be given for internal transfers and recent Greeley-Evans School District 6 rehires, up to $33.85 per hour plus benefits

EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE
Required:
Associates Degree, equivalent educational experience, or equivalent work experience Successful experience in working with at risk youth
Preferred:
Bachelor's Degree in education, psychology, human services or another related field Bilingual Spanish Any other combination of related education, experience and training
JOB DESCRIPTION
Summary/Objective:
Work with identified students who are at-risk for dropping out. Work with parents, school staff, and community agencies to provide behavioral supports for students. Collect and monitor student data. Provide an enriched atmosphere where students learn subject matter and/or skills that will contribute to their development as mature, able, and responsible members of society. Facilitate learning and guide students toward the fulfillment of their potential for intellectual, emotional, and psychological growth and maturation. Responsible to the building principal.
Essential Functions:
Identifies at-risk students to receive support using criteria as outlined in the grant. Contact high school-aged students, who are not currently enrolled in school or programs, attend infrequently, want to re-enroll during the semester, or are returning from expulsion, etc. Identifies intervention and support for each student (Tier 2 -targeted and Tier 3- intensive services). Conduct interviews with students to remove barriers and create an individualized plan for successful credit completion and movement toward graduation. Conduct individual and/or group learning sessions. Maintain teacher and student contact paperwork. Maintain daily and weekly contact support logs. Assesses the accomplishments of students on a regular basis and provides progress reports as required. Collects and reports at-risk indicators and student progress data. Serves as key contact between student, parent, and school staff. Interfaces with students and school personnel to increase academic success through activities such as check grades, work to schedule students, provide access to tutoring and other academic interventions.
Other Duties:
Must be able to follow oral and written directions and have the ability to establish effective working relationships with staff and students. Visual, auditory and ambulatory ability. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Conflict management skills. Strong organizational skills. Empathetic. Positive relationship builder. Knowledge, skills, and abilities sufficient to perform the function of the position as outlined.
