Position Summary Enfield Public Schools is seeking a dedicated and student-focused School Counselor to support the academic, social-emotional, and career development of all students. The successful candidate will work collaboratively with staff, families, and community partners to ensure student success, while managing a balanced caseload and fulfilling responsibilities related to Section 504 Plans. Key Responsibilities Provide individual and group counseling to address academic, emotional, and social needs. Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and families to support student achievement and well-being. Serve as the case manager for students with Section 504
Plans:
Coordinate and facilitate 504 eligibility and review meetings. Ensure compliance with federal and state regulations. Monitor implementation of accommodations and student progress. Participate in school-based teams and contribute to data-driven decision-making. Support crisis intervention and connect students and families with community resources. Promote a positive school climate and inclusive practices. Qualifications Master's degree in School Counseling or related field. Valid Connecticut School Counselor Certification (Endorsement 068). Knowledge of Section 504 regulations and experience managing 504 Plans. Strong communication, collaboration, and organizational skills. Experience in diverse educational settings preferred.
