06/12/2026 West Hartford Public Schools seeks to fill the position of a School Counselor (0.5 FTE) at Sedgwick Middle School.
Responsibilities include:
Provide academic, career, and social-emotional counseling services to students. Deliver classroom guidance lessons and facilitate small-group interventions. Collaborate with families, staff, and community partners to support student success. Respond to student crises and coordinate appropriate interventions and referrals. Use data to identify student needs and evaluate counseling program effectiveness. Promote a positive, inclusive, and supportive school environment. Valid CT Certification (068) is required. Please include a current resume, transcripts, copy of current certification (068) and 3 letters of recommendation dated within the last 365 days. Excellent salary, benefits and working conditions.
