Salary:

Based on Teacher salary schedule with experience and degree. Salary Schedule can be found on the district website: https://www.irsd.net/departments/human-resources/salary-scales

Minimum Qualifications:

Must hold or be eligible for State of Delaware Certification in Secondary School Counseling Clean Criminal Background Check, TB Test, and Child Protection Registry Clearance must be completed prior to start of employment

Primary Duties:

Applicants must demonstrate proficiency and experience in the following: May register students new to the school and orient them to school procedures and the school's varied opportunities for learning. Assists students and families with school-related needs. Maintains student records and protects their confidentiality as directed. Confers with parents whenever necessary. Provides counseling support. Conducts small group instruction for counseling modules. Provides community resources to students and their families. Utilizes the district software programs to support student's academic schedules and learning needs. Other related duties as may be required
