Job Description:

We are seeking a passionate and dedicated full-time certified K-8 school counselor to join our team. While Montessori training is highly regarded, we are open to candidates who are willing to learn and embrace our educational approach. If you have a genuine passion for education and a desire to foster the growth and development of young minds, we encourage you to apply.

Key Responsibilities:

Provide assistance to students through testing and interpretation. Provide assistance to students in class selection and schedules. Provide personal counseling to students and high school guidance. Provide group counseling when need arises. Assist students who are experiencing attendance problems. Provide input into the development of master schedules. Impart crisis intervention skills when need arises. Threat Management Team/SRA Assessments. Perform other incidental tasks consistent with the goals and objectives of this position. Qualifications

School Counseling Certification/License/Certification:

FL School Counseling Certification (Prefered) A commitment to fostering a positive and inclusive school environment. A growth mindset and a willingness to adapt to new methods. A passion for helping students reach their full potential.
