Academic Counselor Admissions 14049 Scenic Highway, Lookout Mountain, GA, USA
Rate of Pay:
$600 for the week Seasonal
THIS POSITION IS ONLY FOR SUMMER INSTITUTE 2026

Position Summary:
Academic Counselors work alongside their assigned professor to support Summer Institute students in learning content, finishing assignments, and engaging in out of class activities. Academic counselors have the dual responsibility to provide academic guidance and a positive student-life experience. This position involves work in multiple settings including the classrooms, tutoring after class, and multiple excursions off of Covenant College's campus.
Work Schedule:
In class work: 8:45 am
  • 11:45 am Post class tutoring 1:30 pm
  • 4:00 pm After class activities: 6:00 pm
  • 9:00 pm Qualifications for
Position:
Sophomore, Junior, or Senior standing Studying the discipline you will counsel as a Major/Minor Minimum 2.75 G.P.A. Strong reading and writing skills Able to work independently Strong character and integrity
Expected Duties and Responsibilities:
Guiding students through their studies in class Tutoring students through assignment after class Accompanying students on outings off campus Work Habits (with the alignment of Core Values) The College asks its staff members the following fundamental work habits: Do good work.
