Job Description

School Counselor Pinecrest Academy of Idaho is seeking a dedicated, student-centered School Counselor to support the academic, social-emotional, and behavioral development of our students. The ideal candidate will build strong relationships with students, families, and staff while promoting a positive and inclusive school culture. Key Responsibilities Provide individual and small group counseling to support students' social-emotional well-being Collaborate with teachers and administration to support student success Support behavior intervention plans and restorative practices Respond to student crises and provide appropriate interventions Lead and coordinate school-wide counseling programs and initiatives Communicate effectively with families regarding student needs and progress Fulfill applicable responsibilities as 504 coordinator Maintain accurate and confidential student records Promote a safe, respectful, and positive school environment Qualifications Master's degree in School Counseling or related field Valid Idaho School Counselor certification (or ability to obtain) Experience working with K-8 students preferred Strong interpersonal, communication, and organizational skills Ability to collaborate effectively with staff and families Knowledge of
MTSS, SEL
