Health Services Status:
Non-Exempt / full time Essential functions : Conduct all necessary duties related to counseling students at Mooseheart and assist in other department duties as required.
Specific duties:
Maintain client caseload of approximately 25 students. Present at all campus Pre-service trainings. Perform admission screenings for new students Complete and submit case notes on a weekly basis. Responsible for implementing and maintaining appropriate therapeutic boundaries. Following all company policies and procedures. Support other department needs as necessary. Student advocacy is achieved through attending staffings, medication reviews, and consultations with residential living staff. Education, Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities to Perform the
Job:
Bachelor's Degree in social work/psychology/counseling Master's degree in social work or a related field is required Professional license preferred Minimum of 2 yrs. clinical experience required Excellent communication, organizational skills, and the ability to work independently Experience in working with children and adolescents. Responsible for assisting in the coordination of counseling services for Mooseheart children.
