Director of Crisis Services General Description:
The Counselor is responsible for the provision of counseling and associated services to potential, current and on-going clients at the Boston Pregnancy Center. Qualifications 1. Be a committed Christian who demonstrates a personal relationship with Jesus Christ as Savior and Lord and an ability to share the Gospel and personal testimony. 2. Exhibit strong dedication and commitment to the sanctity of all human life, while also having compassion and respect for women and men who have chosen abortion. 3. Agree with and be willing to uphold the Statement of Faith, Standards of Affiliation and policies of ministry. 4. Must have a Master's Degree in Counseling or related field. 5. Exhibit good written and oral communication skills. 6. Is a self-starter, able to carry out responsibilities with little supervision. Major Responsibilities 1. Provide counseling and related services for clients. 2. Conduct support groups and provides post-abortion counseling as needed. 3. Ensure that accurate and uniform client information is recorded and reported. 4. Complete administrative tasks as designated. 5. Aid with client support services as assigned.
