Job Description

Master's degree in School Counseling, Counseling or a related field, active School Counselor license and 1+ years School Counselor experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered. Step into a meaningful contract opportunity this summer as a School Counselor in the Sudbury, MA area, working with K-12 students in an engaging educational environment. This rewarding role runs from July 1 to July 30, ideal for those seeking to make a positive impact during the summer session. Qualifications:
Active Massachusetts Counselor License required Previous experience working with K-12 students is highly desirable Strong interpersonal and communication skills Ability to create a safe, supportive, and inclusive atmosphere for diverse student populations Skilled in assessment, intervention, and developing student support strategies
Responsibilities:
Provide individual and group counseling services to K-12 students Collaborate with teachers, staff, and families to monitor and address student progress Support students' social-emotional development and academic planning Develop and implement proactive programs that foster a positive school climate Respond to and manage crisis situations as appropriate Maintain accurate records and comply with confidentiality standards
