8 Wilmington, MA Job Details Full-time $160 a day 18 hours ago Qualifications Student caseload management Student emotional support Faculty collaboration Parent collaboration In-person test proctoring Mid-level Mental health services Emergency response in crisis intervention Student social support Career exploration services for students College planning Collaboration with other professionals for student support Student advocacy Educational program scheduling Parent communication in school administration Working with students with special education needs Student behavioral guidance School counseling services facilitation Care conference participation Section 504 of the Rehabilitation Act in education Teaching Full Job Description Perform all tasks related to School Counselor role including:
  • Oversee caseload of 160 students
  • Counsel students regarding behavior, social-emotional well-being, academics, and college/career planning
  • Assist with course selection and scheduling for all students on caseload
  • Assist with department events, including teaching grade level seminars on various topics
  • Attend special education team meetings
  • Arrange and attend 504 meetings
  • Provide crisis counseling as needed
  • Proctor AP and MCAS exams
  • Advocate for students with staff and administration
  • Consult with faculty, administrators, and other counselors
  • Work directly with parents as needed
  • Assist in end-of-school year tasks (Senior Sign-Out, Junior college meetings)
  • Other duties as assigned by School Counseling CTL or school administrators
