Category Schools - Counselor Job Type Contract Passionate about supporting high school students as they navigate academic and personal challenges? A contract school counselor position is available for the upcoming academic year, offering the opportunity to make a meaningful impact in a dynamic educational environment. This full-time role runs from August 24, 2026, through June 4, 2027, and involves working closely with high school students to foster academic growth, emotional wellbeing, and future planning.
Qualifications:
Possession of a valid Michigan teaching certificate with a
SCHOOL COUNSELOR
(NT) K-12 endorsement Bachelor's degree along with the required certification Additional credit given to candidates with relevant teaching experience Strong grasp of high school academic concepts and a genuine interest in guiding youth Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport and trust with students and colleagues
Key Responsibilities:
