Job Description
Willmar Public Schools is currently seeking applicants for the position of a Full Time School Guidance Counselor at Willmar Senior High Under the direction of the Building Principal and/or Assistant Principal, the School Guidance Counselor is responsible for providing support and assistance to instructional staff, students and parents by providing a comprehensive school counseling program to respond to identified student needs in the areas of academic support; college and career guidance; individual and/or group counseling support services. Current MN School Guidance Counselor Teaching License All job offers from Willmar Public Schools are conditioned upon passing a pre-employment criminal background check. June 5, 2026 Willmar Public Schools is currently seeking applicants for the position of a School Guidance Counselor. Bachelor's Degree Range:
$52,870 to $85,544Master's Degree Range:
$60,558 to $91,310 Master's + 40/PhD/PsyS/EdS/EdD Range:
$68,246 to $93,232 Total Salary Range is $57,227 to $10,916 Hours Per Day 7.5 Hours Per Day Schedule (Approximately) 7:15am- 3:15pm Working Days per Year 182 Teacher Work Days + 15 extra days (Total of 197 days), 2026-2027 School Year Benefits Benefits may be prorated based upon start date.
