Job Description

Category Schools - Counselor Job Type Contract Make a meaningful difference in students' lives by supporting their academic and future success as a part-time Guidance Counselor. This rewarding contract opportunity offers the chance to empower students on their educational journey by providing vital guidance and resources to help them achieve their college and career aspirations. In this role, you'll work approximately 30 hours per week, collaborating with students from diverse backgrounds. Your expertise will help them navigate course credits, transcripts, and key steps in post-secondary planning, ensuring they are prepared for life after graduation.
Qualifications:
Previous experience as a school counselor or guidance counselor, particularly in a school setting Knowledge of college and career readiness processes Proficiency in credit monitoring and transcript evaluation Experience guiding students through FAFSA and financial aid applications Strong organizational and planning skills Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities, especially with adolescents Ability to maintain confidentiality and professional boundaries at all times State certification or licensure (if required)
Key Responsibilities:
