Category Schools - Counselor Job Type Contract About the Position A school district serving the greater Nashua, New Hampshire area is seeking a part-time Guidance Counselor with experience in college and career readiness planning. This role is focused on supporting students as they prepare for post-secondary pathways, including college, workforce entry, or other transitional goals. The position offers a consistent part-time schedule and the chance to work closely with students on academic planning and future readiness. Key Focus Areas Support students with college and career readiness planning Assist with transcript review and credit monitoring Guide students and families through the FAFSA process and financial aid basics Provide direction for post-secondary planning (college, trade, workforce, etc.) Collaborate with school staff to ensure students stay on track for graduation goals Maintain organized records related to academic progress and planning What We're Looking For Experience in school counseling or guidance services Strong knowledge of college admissions processes and career pathways Familiarity with FAFSA, transcripts, and graduation requirements Ability to communicate effectively with students, families, and staff Organized and detail-oriented approach to academic tracking
