JOB DESCRIPTION

To provide academic, behavioral, social, and emotional counseling and interventions to support the needs of students in school, through classroom, and small group and / or individual sessions.

QUALIFICATIONS, MANDATORY

Valid New Jersey School Counselor Certification. Student Centered Focus Required criminal history background check

QUALIFICATIONS, DESIRED

Proven experience working with high school students, preferably in grades 9-12. Strong knowledge of college admissions processes and career counseling. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills. Ability to develop and implement student support plans. Proficiency in using counseling and educational software tools.
