JOB DESCRIPTION
To provide academic, behavioral, social, and emotional counseling and interventions to support the needs of students in school, through classroom, and small group and / or individual sessions.
QUALIFICATIONS, MANDATORY
Valid New Jersey School Counselor Certification Student Centered Focus Required criminal history background check
QUALIFICATIONS, DESIRED
Proven experience working with middle school students, preferably in grades 6-8. Experience providing academic counseling. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills. Ability to develop and implement student support plans. Proficiency in using counseling and educational software tools.
