RESPONSIBILITIES
Has an understanding of the needs of a diverse population, Willing to familiarize themselves with the implementation of the scheduling process, Is able to effectively intervene with at-risk students academically and socially, Participate in special education conferences: CSE, CST, and Section 504, Has a working knowledge of the college application process, including the Common Application Has familiarity with Naviance and Eschool Familiarity with N.Y.S. graduation requirements and Regents' requirements Familiar with academic, social-emotional and career counseling Communicate with parents and appropriate professional staff to discuss student needs and progress, Has strong interpersonal communication skills with parents, students, teachers and administrators, Collaborates with staff and administration to promote and maintain a sound learning environment, Other duties as assigned by the principal and/ or supervising administrator.
