School Counselor
LOCATION
Vanguard Tech Center, Fremont MINIMUM Possess a Master's degree or equivalent and a valid Ohio School
QUALIFICATIONS
Counselor's Certificate/License. Excellent communication, organizational, and instructional skills are desired traits. A valid Ohio driver's license and positive background checks (BCI/FBI) are mandatory. GENERAL The school counselor shall provide counseling services addressing academic,
DESCRIPTION:
personal, and social development. Assisting students with personal growth and problem-solving, career and post-secondary planning, and behavioral and discipline concerns. Shall support student retention and success initiatives while assisting in student recruitment. Shall maintain accessibility to students and families and organize and co-facilitate student support groups. Shall maintain accurate student records, process status changes, and monitor graduation requirements and academic progress. The candidate shall implement the Superintendent's directives, district goals, and policies of the Board of Education.

SALARY:
In accordance with the collective bargaining agreement.
