May 8, 2026 Job Description Long Term Substitute Counselor•Inza Wood Middle School The start date for this position is September 4th, 2026 until November 10th, 2026. This is a substitute position through EduStaff.
Position Description:
The school counselor works directly with students, strategizes with teams so students are academically and socially successful, plans with the school leadership team for staff development, and communicates with parents. The counselor will collaborate with staff to implement academic and social support systems that engage and ensure success for all students; focus on counseling that is integrated with learning and character education that promotes a growth mindset and academic progress.
Qualifications:
Knowledge of best practices in counseling; Masters Degree preferred; Oregon license in assigned area(s) and proper endorsements A counselor in the West Linn-Wilsonville School District joins a community of professionals who embrace the district's mission and six guiding vision themes: How do we create learning communities for the greatest thinkers and most thoughtful people for the world? The West Linn-Wilsonville School District is nestled within two thriving cities, West Linn and Wilsonville, within the rural area of Clackamas County.
