This role is designed for someone who is passionate about supporting young students as they transition into high school. The Class Advisor will play a crucial role in fostering a positive environment, promoting student engagement, and guiding freshmen through their academic and social experiences. Responsibilities Serve as the primary point of contact for freshman students, providing guidance and support throughout the school year. Organize and facilitate orientation programs and activities to help freshmen acclimate to high school life. Collaborate with teachers, counselors, and parents to monitor student progress and address any academic or social concerns. Plan and oversee class events, including fundraisers, social gatherings, and community service projects. Encourage student participation in extracurricular activities and promote school spirit. Provide mentorship and advice on academic planning, course selection, and personal development. Maintain regular communication with students and parents to keep them informed about class activities and important deadlines. Foster a sense of community and belonging among freshmen through team-building exercises and group discussions. Address conflicts or issues that arise among students and facilitate resolutions as needed. Prepare reports and documentation related to class activities and student progress.
