Job Description

DAINGERFIELD-LONE STAR ISD POSITION OPENING COUNSELOR DAINGERFIELD JUNIOR HIGH SCHOOL
Education:
At least a Master's Degree from an approved institution recognizing teacher education Proper training in
Public School Counseling Counselor Certificate Experience:
Three years of successful teaching experience
Ability:
This person must be able to plan and implement a sound secondary school counseling program and communicate effectively with students, teachers, administrators and patrons. This person must keep informed of and comply with state, district, and school policies and regulations concerning primary job functions.
Position Goal:
Provide a complete program of guidance services especially adapted to meet the varied needs of high school students.
General Information:
Contract for 11 months with a salary dependent on credentials and experience with budget considerations.
