Latexo ISD is located between Crockett and Grapeland. Latexo is a small district with two campuses and is a 1-to-1 Google app district. Latexo ISD prides itself on a 4 day instruction week.

Description/Notes:
  • Advise students and parents about options for their personal graduation plan (PGP). Provide guidance in the development andpletion of each student's personal graduation plan.
  • Guide individual students to identify a course of study that promotes college and workforce readiness, career placement and advancement, and helps the student make the transition from secondary to post-secondary education.
  • Guide students to plan, monitor, and manage the student's own education and career development including providing information about post-secondary opportunities.
  • Interpret standardized test results and assessment data to guide students in individual goal setting and planning.
  • Work with students, parents, and staff to ensure students academic success and make alternative course work available when necessary through curriculum modification and acceleration
Qualifications:
Knowledge of master schedule and scheduling classes. Knowledge of assisting students with applying for college scholarships.
Salary Range:
Per Latexo ISD Salary Scale Insurance, TRS Retirement, 1-800MD
