Royal ISD is a fast-growth district with 6 campuses located approximately 8 miles west of Katy (Houston area). The district currently has 3,200 students and is expected to grow to 9,000-11,000 students in the next 5-7 years. The district will be opening the 7th campus (a new 3,000 student high school) during the 2028-2029 school year.

Description/Notes:
Provide leadership, coordination, and oversight for the district's advanced academic programs and counseling programs, including Gifted/Talented, Advanced Placement, Dual Credit, Early College High School, OnRamps, and other college and career readiness initiatives. Provide district-level support to counselors across the district to ensure exceptional services at all levels, and support district graduation rate oversight. Ensure equitable student access, programpliance, curriculum alignment, graduation rate, and postsecondary readiness opportunities that support district goals and student achievement.

Qualifications:
3 years teaching experience (required) Valid Texas Counseling Certificate (required) Masters Degree (required) 5 years counseling and/or administrative experience in Texas Public Schools (can bebined to equal 5 years) Administrative Experience (preferred)
Salary Range:
$83,022 to $118,244 Per Year Per district schedule
