Job Description
The Luxemburg-Casco School District is seeking a Multilingual Learner Aide
- Attend classes with selected ML students to provide support within the classroom setting
- Promote the language development of students
- Reinforce lessons/concepts taught
- Offer small group and/or one-on-one support related to classwork and academic/language skills
- Foster an inclusive and supportive learning environment
Desired Qualities:
- Preference will be given to candidates who are bilingual (Spanish preferred) and possess experience in educational settings or with multilingual students
- Preference will be given to candidates who are able to translate educational materials and school communications
- Passion for supporting students
- Desire to work and take direction in a team environment
- Excellent oral and written communication skills
- Strong organizational and time management skills
