Role Responsibilities The Shawano School District is seeking a highly organized, student-centered professional who is able to manage evolving responsibilities while supporting the academic, social, and emotional development of middle school students. Key responsibilities include providing individual and group counseling services, developing and implementing school counseling programming aligned to student needs, and collaborating with staff and families to support student success. This role also includes supporting students with academic planning, goal setting, and problem-solving, responding to student needs in a timely and supportive manner, and coordinating services by connecting students and families with appropriate school and community resources. Additional responsibilities include participating in student support teams, contributing to a positive and inclusive school climate, supporting school-wide initiatives related to student well-being, attendance, and engagement, maintaining accurate and confidential student records, and using data to inform programming and decision-making while collaborating with building and district teams to ensure alignment with school and district goals.
