401(k) Dental insurance Health insurance Paid time off Vision insurance About the Role The Youth Prosperity Coordinator leads two interconnected efforts: 1. Youth Prosperity Support & Case Coordination Providing wrap-around support to youth and families participating in: Workforce Development programs The Academy (academic support program focused on ACT improvement, experiential learning, and internships) This includes coordinating social-emotional support services, helping students overcome barriers, and working alongside case management and workforce development staff to ensure participants stay on track academically, socially, and professionally. 2. Academy Program Leadership Overseeing a comprehensive academic and experiential learning initiative designed to: Improve ACT performance Expand career horizons Connect students with paid summer internships Promote secondary learning opportunities Strengthen family stability through coordinated social services The Coordinator provides overall leadership for the Academy program, working closely with the Lead Instructor/Assistant YPP Coordinator and teaching staff to ensure high-quality academic programming and student support. Key Responsibilities Holistic Support & Case Coordination Coordinate Human Needs Assessments and individualized support plans for youth participants Work closely with case management staff to address barriers to student success Coordinate psychoeducational sessions focused on life skills, employment readiness, and personal development Conduct home visits and follow-up sessions with students and families when appropriate Maintain confidentiality and uphold the dignity of every participant Academic & Program Leadership Provide leadership and oversight for the Academy academic program Supervise and support the Lead Instructor and teaching staff Ensure ACT preparation curriculum and instruction are effectively implemented Oversee testing schedules, program data collection, and student progress tracking Ensure classrooms, materials, and learning environments meet student needs Coordinate with the Center of Workforce Development to support employment education and readiness Experiential Learning & Internships Develop and maintain experiential learning opportunities including field trips, guest speakers, and career exploration workshops Coordinate logistics with the Administrative Assistant Build partnerships with local organizations and businesses to host 2-3 week paid summer internships Work closely with Workforce Development staff to support youth career pathways Oversee internship placement, supervision, and evaluation Family Engagement & School Partnerships Serve as the primary liaison to local schools, principals, and counselors Meet with parents and caregivers to encourage enrollment and ongoing engagement Collaborate with Catholic Social Ministries and Workforce Development programs to track family support and stability Data, Reporting & Mission Representation Maintain accurate records and performance data Support grant reporting and external evaluation Represent the Missions with professionalism, compassion, and integrity in the community Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Education, Social Work, Nonprofit Management, Psychology, or related field (Master's preferred) 3+ years of experience in youth development, education, or social services Experience with at-risk youth or under-resourced communities preferred Ability to travel locally, including to rural sites and family homes Willingness to complete background checks Proficiency with Microsoft Office and data systems Deep empathy and social perceptiveness Ability to build trusting, professional relationships Strong communication skills with diverse populations Commitment to serving those most in need Youth Prosperity Coordinator Fathers of St Edmund, Southern Missions, Inc.
