Full Job Description Description:
The Career Development and Employment Services Assistant will play a key role in supporting the administrative and operational functions of Rainbow's growing workforce development division. This position will serve as the first point of contact for residents seeking to engage in employment services, career skills development, and training opportunities. The Assistant will be responsible for conducting pre-screening interviews, managing resident intake processes, scheduling, tracking engagement, and assisting with documentation and follow-up communication. This role ensures that participants are properly on boarded and supported as they begin their journey toward sustainable employment and economic mobility.
Requirements:
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES
Associate's degree or equivalent experience in administration, social services, workforce development, or a related field. Prior experience working in a social service, educational, or workforce development environment preferred. Strong interpersonal skills with a welcoming and professional demeanor. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Strong organizational skills and attention to detail. Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook) and comfort learning internal tracking systems. Bilingual skills are a plus. Cultural sensitivity and ability to work with diverse populations, including residents from low-income and refugee communities.
