The Job Coach reports to the Program Manager and is responsible for training and coaching clients in employment skills, appropriate work habits and workplace behaviors. We have an excellent team and are looking for someone with social services skills/interest. Kitchen or back of house experience preferred. As a Job Coach, you would be responsible for maintaining our reputation for excellent food and excellent service while also training our program participants in a rewarding and supportive environment. Standard Duties:

1. Daily preparation of food including cleaning and cutting ingredients and cooking main dishes. 2. Preparation of daily baking needs including rolls, pastries and other desserts. 3. Plating prepared foods based on Executive Chef or Sous Chef guidance. 4. Working as a food runner/expediter to ensure that orders are completed according to request and on time. 5. Ensuring work stations are clean and safe and that all kitchen operation procedures are appropriately followed to ensure compliance with all health/safety guidelines/regulations. 6. Under direction of the Program Manager, provide daily coaching, mentoring, resource coordination and advocacy as needed to Café 54 trainees. 7. Compile data and complete required documentation for reports to funding sources. 8. Assist in crisis situations as needed in order to maintain a safe work environment. 9. Assist in the review of trainees for competitive job placements. 10. Conduct trainee assessments including reviewing work adaptive behaviors, transportation options, willingness to work, skills, abilities and preferences and other relevant factors. 11. Attend and participate in special projects, staff meetings and training. 12. Other related responsibilities and duties as assigned, including front of house Job Coaching as needed and catering events as requested.

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

1. Ability to work effectively with individuals with mental illness. 2. Ability to work effectively on multi-disciplinary team. 3. Skill in planning and organizing. 4. Basic computer skills. 4. Knowledge of standard kitchen operating procedures, food preparation, health and safety guidelines.

Minimum Qualifications:

1. At least 1 year experience as line cook/baker, prep cook, etc. 2. GED or HS Diploma 3. Valid Class 2 AZ drivers license 4. Ability to obtain an

Associates or Bachelor's Degree in Social Service related field 1 year social service experience or current Peer Support Credential for state of

$16.00 - $18.00 per hour
