If this sounds interesting to you and you have a passion for helping others, Social Vocational Services has an opening as an Employment Specialist (Recruiter) in your local area. We are seeking an empathetic and motivated Employment Specialist to work closely with adults with disabilities in their journey to secure and maintain meaningful employment. This role requires local travel to meet clients, engage with employers, and provide on-site support, making reliable transportation and ongoing proof of auto insurance essential. •Salary $25.00/Hour + Monthly Incentive +
Mileage Key Responsibilities:
Collaborate with individuals with intellectual developmental disabilities to assess their skills, abilities, and career aspirations. Develop and maintain partnerships with local businesses and organizations to create job opportunities. Customize job placement strategies for each individual considering their unique needs. Provide job coaching and support to clients in their workplace for moving independence and success. Conduct regular flow follow-ups with clients and employers to ensure job retention and satisfaction. Advocate for workplace accommodations and inclusivity within the community. Keep detailed records and documentation of client progress and outcomes. Other duties assigned by
Director of Community Development Mandated Abuse Reporter Education and Work Experience:
Bachelor's degree preferred, three to four years' experience in sales, marketing or other job development related position.
